Discovery. A workshop or two to map the process, the users and what has to be true for the project to pay off. You get a written scope and an estimate.

First version. We build the smallest version that is useful in daily work and put it in front of real users within weeks, not months.

Iterate. Short cycles with a demo at the end of each. You see progress every week and can change priorities as you learn.

A product we run ourselves, and platforms we built for clients.
Our product
Tuntivo. Workforce management for Finnish shift work. Managers plan the roster, employees clock in on their phone, and approved hours go to payroll by the collective agreement, without retyping.
Delivered
Travel & tourism. A complete booking and packaging platform for a Scandinavian wintersports and summersports operator. Replaced spreadsheet-based reservations with a self-service web platform handling availability, multi-stop bookings, dynamic pricing, and customer-facing confirmations. Operated for years as the operator's online backbone.
Built and maintained
Video-on-demand platforms. Two subscription streaming services for 2GrapesMedia, built and maintained by Codeva: plans and coupons in several currencies, recurring payments including iDEAL, video delivered through a CDN, a TV programme guide, and watch progress and favourites, in English, Dutch and Spanish. Running serverless on AWS.

Laravel and PHP. Applications are built on Laravel, with Livewire for interactive screens, PostgreSQL for data and Filament for admin panels. Widely used, well documented and easy to hand over.

You do. The source code, the data and the hosting accounts are yours, so you are never locked in to us.
Can you take over an existing application?
Yes. We start with a review of the code and the hosting, fix what is risky first, and then improve it step by step instead of rewriting it.
Where are you based?
Codeva Oy is based in Rovaniemi, Finland. We work remotely with clients in Finland and across Europe, in English or Dutch.
Can you help without building anything?
Yes. As a fractional CTO or for a one-off architecture review or technical due diligence, we advise your team or your investors without taking on the development.
